that explore is a funny thing sure better not being taken too serious, though it is telling about popular likes. At least that's what I think, since the ones I had in explore were not so because of fast comments or favs of contacts of mine, but because of reactions of others that had come new because of the photo
The first of mine that made it to explore was taken on the second day with my first digital camera I had bought used for 70 Euro ( Ricoh R3 ) and now, after over 4 years, it is still in explore.
Once I even had a #1! haha, but it had dropped out of explore very fast thereafter. I think it had been chosen 3 times as favorite and had two comments already when the front page first opened after up-loading. That must have catapulted it to No 1 spot first!
Most others of the total 23 that had made it have dropped out at some point too, currently there are only 5 of mine on explore.
All were taken in my first 2 years while I was experimenting more. None was added to explore in the last 2 years until just recently this one made it
