I've been looking on ebay for one, no luck. Curious if you guys have
seen such an one on your European ebay sites.

Will it work with any soft shutter release? Like, one of those cute ones which say Leica on them?

Puplet, this looks like a Leica button, what do you think? Love the job
he did on this!

I just asked him what button it is, in this thread. My nick is "chubasco."

I guess "chubasco" is the same meaning as Italian "piovasco"... wonder if I am correct!

"Chubasco" is Spanish/Portuguese for tropical storm. (?)

Then maybe it's different. Piovasco is a very short but intense rain, that lasts only a couple of minutes. "Shower" I think is the English word for it.
I was wondering because the words sound somehow alike.

Back on subject, what do you mean by soft shutter release? A type of cable shutter release or something different?

The soft shutter release I've seen come in two designs: the one I need
simply screws into the existing shutter release button. Nice big wide
flange which is a lot nicer than the wee little button. I think this aids in
better focused shots. With DSLRs they already have a fairly wide button
to depress. The other design fits over the existing button, comes with its
own housing for the new shutter release.

I see my link is worthless unless you join Rangefinderforum to see the
pics. APF does this crap, too.
