I think that you should make the eyes grayscale too.
Why? Because they are perfectly executed enough to draw attention as they are, no tricks.
Tricks detract from the quality of the photo, they make watchers say "oh that's the colour trick" and put it in the category
together with other works that may not be as good as yours (usually, they aren't) but use the same trick to "impress people"
- while I think your photo is good enough to stand on it's own feet.

This is good, very good actually, but this image has a lot more punch in B&W. In B&W, it hits.
