And it looks very special. Reminds to etchwork somehow. I like it.

And there I was expecting a portrait of Atilla in UV. Quite the decent result there Klaus.

UV shots of people don't come out very nicely, so I don't do that (except for forensic or medical reasons) Wink

You try to destroy my curiosity I guess. If I want to try something weird with portraits I ask my dog to pose, because he is only interested in the reward for posing, not in the results Laughing Laughing

Search flickr for "UV portrait" and you'll see. There is a guy who learned from me and published a few shots he did fort his studies.

Thanks Attila!

There is some "effect" on Buda castle buildings I cannot yet explain, maybe it is some fungus or what... these funny blotches of color I mean...

PostPosted: Mon Jun 13, 2011 9:27 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

These are fantastically interesting! I wonder if the splotches might be
mold on the building? Since it's organic, maybe it exudes a different
wavelength?

Love it!

Hi Larry,

I thought the same, some sort of mold or fungus growing on the stones and only being visible in the invisible (pun intended)

Interesting series!

What ISO did you use? The sky in #1 looks strange, very grainy.

PostPosted: Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:56 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Nothing in UV looks normal. I guess I used ISO1250 or so
