From these images it seems to render lovely colours like other Carl Zeiss Jena lenses. Do you find that it flares a lot? My copy did so I moved it on quickly! Laughing

Really nice images again, you live in a lovely place Smile

Biometars with single coating do flare. My 120 zebra did, so I always used it with a hood. The resolvance was excellent though. My MultiCoated version of Biometar 80 does not flare in normal use (except in torture test).

Thanks guys, I must have had a dodgy copy then as it was the MC version and was horrible near any bright light sources Laughing

My Biometar is prone to flare too, but only if it is facing the sun or extreme condition as Orio said.
But otherwise it has very very good color and sharpness.

It looks a very low contrast lens. On digital not much of an issue, but being mainly a film user this could be problematic.

With B&W no issue I did try several , with slide yes , quiet visible.
