Very interesting series, wish there were things like this to explore where I live.
Not sure the distortion is to my liking though. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

+1
- I prefered the slightly more harmonic distortion of the Samyang 8mm F3.5 I had before _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

Good series and interesting location.
I would not have used the fisheye in all the shots though. The fisheye is an imposing lens, meaning that it
tends to overcome the subject (becoming more visually important than the subject).
In this case, this is dommage, because the subject is interesting and has a visual force on it's own. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Orio explains it well - the subject is very strong so the distortion somehow detracts a little.
Abandoned buildings are a favourite subject of mine, and interiors in them are a bugger to shoot, only way I've found that worked for me was to take a wide lens such as a 21mm and make stitched shots. It requires a tripod and time though, but perhaps you can plan out some stitched shots you'd like to make before your next visit then it wouldn't be too time consuming.

Nice series!
My problem is the current lack of usable wide angle lenses in my collection
Despite the Samyang 8mm F2.8 I currently only have the Sigma 19/2.8 which is horrible in darkness due the AF.
I whish I had the Samyang 14/2.8 or similar _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

Tokina/Hoya 24mm is really cheap and good, loads of them on ebay all the time. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

I had Tokina RMC 24/2.8 but wasn't 100% happy with it due distortion, wide-open- and corner performance
Would be a bit boring to buy it again Minolta 24/2.8 would be nice but it's not that cheap anymore.
Also 24mm are not that wide on APSC _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

You must have spent quite some time in there to find so many photogenic spots? _________________ I welcome C&C, editing my pics and reposting them on the forum is fine.
