Hard disk's reading head.

Thank you.
I don't know why I posted it here.
I wanted it to " Manual Focus".
Please, a mod or admin to move it there.

Got it a couple of days back, cleaned it up and finally got a chance to take it out and give it a test....

It was a very windy day and i used it "handheld"...... go figure....

All shots wide open...

Although most shots lack sharpness (my fault), i do think (imho) that this lens is something else....

The hard disk shot is nice the rest just don't work for me, too much softness when I want to see detail my eyes can't otherwise.

Thank you!
Agree with what you said about the other pictures.
I see no focus point Mir.
Nothing to worry about. Just practice and a 1/160-1/250 the shutter speed.

I agree on the shots. The sharpness is great; the fuzziness is disconcerting.

I had one of these, but it was disassembled and I couldn't determine how to re-assemble it. (Tricky little bugger.) I bought it for US$6.65 shipped, sold it for US$6.50, lost 15 cents on it. I hope it has a good home now.

If I'm not mistaken, that might be the same lens as my Panagor 55mm f/3. I read somewhere that it was marketed under a few names and the max aperture was reported differently to make it appear as unique.
