...these where taken with a Nikkor 28/2 and a 24/2.8, on two different days (the second "set" the next day), the 28 was with a Hoya polarizer. All are of the same tree...C&C welcomed

I don't think the first and last ones really work as "portfolio" photos since the composition is way too "closed" for me, I can't bread with this type of "closing in", and I don't think it works on this particular subject either.

The horizontal ones are the best for me in terms of overall composition, they would even work as a wallpaper for my laptop.
