Dear All,
There is a lens for sale on our local forum marked as
Minolta mount 'EXAKTA 28mm 1: 2.8 MC MACRO Ø49 Lens Made in Japan'

Does somebody knows what is it?
Maybe a Sigma Mini Wide?

if the pictures can help ..

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

I'd say it's a Cosina.

Exactly the same look. Very Happy
Thank you very much.

I guess it's a very good lens then.
What do you think is it a real macro lens or this is just a marketing trick?

It will probably be a 1:4 or 1:5 macro, let is know what is marked on the barrel when you get it, if you get it Smile

I have a close relative of this one - a 24mm in KA mount. It focuses down to around 19cm which is more like close-focusing than a real macro. It seems like a case where the marketing guys have had more say than the engineers Smile

I wonder if this is also a Cosina lens ?

Hi Bjorn,
What about yours ?
Please share the impression you have (goods/bads). Samples will be nice to see.

BR,
Stefan

This was my favorite lens when I mostly shot BW film - in large part because of the wide angle of view. Now that I shoot digital it tends to sit on the shelf most of the time.

I'll have a look through my photos tonight and start a thread, if I find something presentable or informative. I'm kind of curious myself - I've often wondered if there is something to dislike about this lens or if it's only brand snobbery that makes me rather reach for my A-28mm instead Surprised
