I ran this through some "Automatic" stuff in ACDSee Pro 3 Trial Version.
It came out pretty close to what I see in any given mountain meadows
and streams similar to this.

Of course, this is experimental, until I get used to the new software. So, the
image is more to just show a nice creek and meadow, than to expound on
the technical aspects of the image. There's a bit of wind blowing things
around, but that's okay with me.

Excellent...the sort of shot that people say "why didn't I think of that" when they were out for a stroll with their camera.

I wish I had your way of seeing things Larry. I have yet to see anything you have posted I didn't like.

Thanks everyone! More encouragement for me. Very Happy I was thinking this
might be too busy, but I guess it works okay. Great!

I tried to first "process" this with Photoshop, and just didn't like the
results. Similar to the image I posted of the silhouetted tree recently,
it seemed overprocessed, and I feel clumsy trying to use it.

So, I went to the ACDSee Pro 3 that Attila had recommended, hit a couple
of "auto" buttons, and the image jumped right into being just about
exactly what I see with my own eyes when I visit this alpine basin!
Even the saturation and the almost surreal red of the foreground Saxifrage
seed pods are very very accurate. This was later in the year, and most of
the flowers were gone or were only showing seed pods, but the color
of the meadows themselves showed a lot of saturated variations.

Thanks again for commenting on all my images, good or not-so-good -
it all assists me in knowing what works and what needs work.
