Dedicated to Orio: Parc Guell shots

At last I got an opportunity to go back to the Parc Guell. Some friends of my wife came to spend the weekend with us, and they wanted to visit Barcelona. Since they have never been before at the City, we took them to visit the Parc Guell, the Holy Family cathedral and the center of the city (Catalunya sqare and the Ramblas). Enough walk for a day.
As I recalled Orio was there long ago, and we talked about the damaged iguana, I took some shots to bring some memories to him. I shoot a roll with the Zenith 122 (my first roll) but it's not yet developped, so I put here some shots taken with my compact Caplio GX100:

The park's logo:

Next to the entrance:

Shapes and textures mimic the nature:

The topmost side of the park: The three cross hill and a view from there

The big explanade, and the underside supporting columns

Some ceramic artworks:

The iguana (reconstructed):

Best regards,
Jes.

Yes, very nice memories, thank you Jes Smile
It seems and feels like yesterday, but it's been 21 years since my last time there. Quite a lot of time.
I always dream of a return.

Funny thing, you have takensome shots that are quite identical to those that I have taken then (same point of view) Smile

We've been warned of rainfalls... I don't trust the weatherman.
Best regards,
Jes.
