So that's where the old Volvos go! Terrific series lahnet, what a fascinating locale. You have certainly given the place an aura of decay.

I was wondering, how it performs at high ISO (1600, 3200) , being a CMOS sensor, and if it can compete in this field with the Canon's CMOS sensors.
I think the same sensor can be found in the Nikon's D300. _________________ Canonet QL17 III

Well I came from A100 and the improvement when using high iso is almost unbeliverable. Test have show the Canon 40D and Sony A700 are on the same level when it comes to noise using high iso.
Same sensor will be in D300.
I was lucky to "win" a auction in local camera store, I only had to pay 950€. The bargain of the year. _________________ Henrik

Wow, great price. Congratulations. I think that camera will be around ~1500 euros (in Europe), between D300 and 40D. If not, well, the competitors will be in trouble. I don't know for sure, but Sony dSLR is the third after Canon and Nikon, even if they had only one model launched (A100). Means that some people waited and didn't swich from their Minolta gear and of course Sony knows how to do efficient marketing (unlike Pentax). _________________ Canonet QL17 III
