Probably works but I also like the elastic band idea for panning a video camera to prevent jerky movement. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. yes, I did see someone carry a Halo Rig filming at the Kumbh Mela in India, camera mounted was not a dSLR but a video cam.
Besides the camera only a mic was mounted, it was not overloaded like in this ebay ad which shows that many gadgets 'can' be mounted.
A Halo Rig much have been chosen because it is the smallest, most compact and portable of pretty much any effective video stabilizer,
see other solutions e.g.: http://www.varizoom.com/stabilizersindex.html _________________ my photos on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kuuan/collections |
