For sale a Yashica 2/55 standard lens in Contax/Yashica mount
This lens was the standard lens on many Yashica cameras of the Contax/Yashica mount line.
DSB is the cheap line of Yashica lenses (ML is the top line). However this lens performs surprisingly good.
In a sharpness test I made years ago, confronted with several other 50 to 58 mm lenses, it fared really well against some good competition of Nikkors, SMC Takumar, Helios, and Contax Planar lenses, ending in the first places for sharpness. I kept it for all these years because of it's sharpness.
The lens is solidly bulit, and in excellent++ condition.
Price is very cheap, 20 Euros. It is worth more quality wise. But people will not spend more for a DSB lens, so I have to sell it at this price. A lucky guy between you will make a good deal.
The lens comes with both original caps.
