For sale a Meyer-Optik Goerlitz Helioplan 4.5/40 with red V (Meyer's best coating) and an aperture with 10 blades. Exakta mount.
According to the Meyer book, this lens was built in year 1954, in a batch of 300 exemplars.

This copy (a "preset" type lens) is in excellent aesthetical condition and perfect mechanical condition.
Optically, the glasses are clear and free from fungus and scratches, but there is some visible dust inside.
I can see 2-3 larger bits of black dust, and more finer dust scattered.
I do not notice any harm in the images taken with the lens.

Ebay average prices for Exakta copies of this lens are typically in the 80-90 Euros range (M42 copies easily exceeding the 100-120 Euros)
Due to the dust, I sell this lens for 40 Euros. Which I think is an excellent bargain.
Please ask for the shipping cost.

I would be interested, how much is shipping to Germany?

thanks Klaus
9 Euros for simple letter (not registered, not traceable)
13 Euros for registered letter
Unfortunately German Post is not accepting insured letters from Italy anymore. If you want insurance, you need to buy a courier service. I'd have to call to get a precise quote, however it will be expensive Sad
But perhaps for a 40 Euros value lens, registered may be enough. Keep in mind that Italian post will keep in all cases 26 Euros (or 10% value, whatever is higher) from any insurance refund, so the actual safety difference is only 14 Euros.

Thanks Orio - unfortunately I have overlooked the Exakta mount, I thought it to be M42. So I have to withdraw, very sorry... Embarassed Embarassed

This is a very intersting and very rare lens, so I can only encourage everyone!!
