...it's how close you can get Very Happy Or in a couple cases...how close the birds get to you Shocked

Hiding behind a tree trunk taking pics of chickadees, this nuthatch lands about 15 feet away and starts making his/her he-he, he-he call...

(Tamron SP 90mm macro with 01F teleconverter...probably f/11. Cropped from horizontal to vertical)



Out stalking a pair of red-tailed hawks in the next yard over, camouflaged in a tree with dead leaves, a Cooper's hawk floats into view.

(Komura 90-250mm f/4.5, f/8 probably, 225mm. Cropped 50%)
