Yes, this makes a sharp, old 100 / 2,8 SC open. And powerfull colours

IS sharper than the EF 100 / 2,8 Macro?

this lens is quite underrated because there is it´s much more famous brother zuiko 100/2. I haven´t tried any of these two myself, but from what I´ve seen over net and was told by my friends (which own one or both of them), there isn´t much difference in optical quality between them. the faster 100/2 is surely better, but not that much and noticeably rather at small f-numbers
