It arrived
From what I've seen so far, high ISO performance seems very good for a 18MP crop camera Can't wait to get some wildlife shots with it! _________________ Graham - Moderator

Isn't the xxD series now watered down a little after the 50D?

Haha, I <3 the Noink 55/1.2
The 60D is watered down in that it's made from high grade plastic rather than magensium alloy (which makes it a bit lighter), only(!) shoots at 5.3fps, uses SD cards and doesn't have AF adjustment. But...it has a lovely 3" 1MP wideangle screen that tilts, slightly larger viewfinder, shoots HD video, has an 18MP sensor and better high ISO performance than the 50D.

I'm sure it's a great camera, but too big and heavy for me I never use battery grips due to the size (I have feeble hands ) and find that one battery has plenty enough juice for manual lenses
Have you tried a 1D yet? I played with a D3s and it had quite incredible high ISO performanec _________________ Graham - Moderator
