It arrived Smile

From what I've seen so far, high ISO performance seems very good for a 18MP crop camera Smile Can't wait to get some wildlife shots with it!

Isn't the xxD series now watered down a little after the 50D?

Congrats on the new camera, but get that Noink lens off it at once!!! Laughing

Haha, I <3 the Noink 55/1.2 Laughing

The 60D is watered down in that it's made from high grade plastic rather than magensium alloy (which makes it a bit lighter), only(!) shoots at 5.3fps, uses SD cards and doesn't have AF adjustment. But...it has a lovely 3" 1MP wideangle screen that tilts, slightly larger viewfinder, shoots HD video, has an 18MP sensor and better high ISO performance than the 50D.

Perfect for nature shots Smile

I'm surprised you haven't gone for the 1D mkiv. and don't say the cost has put you off.

I'm sure it's a great camera, but too big and heavy for me Smile I never use battery grips due to the size (I have feeble hands Laughing ) and find that one battery has plenty enough juice for manual lenses Smile

Have you tried a 1D yet? I played with a D3s and it had quite incredible high ISO performanec Shocked
