Post processing is my middle name
But, but, I'd say 95% of my pictures are processed only in ACR. _________________ Moderator Himself |

I've found my PP work to have gone through stages. When I first began to do it, especially if it was film, I usually over did it. Over sharpened, too much contrast, too much saturation. But the more I PP'd, the less sharpening and contrast and saturation I used. And the more natural the images look became.
Now I find that if an image was properly exposed -- whether film or digital -- I'll do only very light PP to it, unless I'm after a specific effect. Like kopimorning's image, for example. Or by playing around with sharpness and contrast and upsizing for a more surreal effect, like this image of an F22 Stealth fighter aircraft:
If you're after a desired effect, the ends really do justify the means. _________________ Michael

I convert it to B/W, adjust the contrast, lighting, add more sharpness, blend it with texture used as background. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/41597826@N04
