Can't live without post processing these days, and it getting worse.
Am I lost?

Post processing is my middle name Very Happy
But, but, I'd say 95% of my pictures are processed only in ACR.

I've found my PP work to have gone through stages. When I first began to do it, especially if it was film, I usually over did it. Over sharpened, too much contrast, too much saturation. But the more I PP'd, the less sharpening and contrast and saturation I used. And the more natural the images look became.

Now I find that if an image was properly exposed -- whether film or digital -- I'll do only very light PP to it, unless I'm after a specific effect. Like kopimorning's image, for example. Or by playing around with sharpness and contrast and upsizing for a more surreal effect, like this image of an F22 Stealth fighter aircraft:



If you're after a desired effect, the ends really do justify the means.
