This is a photo I took of the Como lake the day I met with Nikos. I did not publish on the series I made of that event.
But I like the shot albeit it is simply a bokeh/3D test shot. I think it displays well the character of the Hollywood.
This photo was taken with the lens that I later sold to Nikos and is now owned by him:

I think that Capture One Pro 6 (which I used to develop this photo) does a slightly better job than Lightroom 3.3 in
rendering the muted brownish/purple-ish tones (oil painters know this hue as caput mortuum) of the barren vegetation in the background.
I love the way the Hollywood draws the out of focus waters.

Question Question

I have seen many references on the forum to both '3D' and 'Hollywood'. Is there place where I can look to see exactly what is meant by the '3D' effect in photos and which lens(es) are considered 'Hollywood' and why?

Well, that effect is apparent from photo. People talk about microcontrast or drawing in shadows which displays in special character of photo. Plasticity not flatness like some unnamed lenses.
edit: Very good sample, indeed.
