Merry Christmas to you all!
Does anybody know if the 2/28 Rollei Distangon has a triangle shaped iris?
ANd does anybody know if it has the same mirror locking difficultie as its Contax version?

The Rollei QBM is one of the closest to the Eos Register distance.
The Adapters are very thin and have trouble with Infinity as well.
Look high and low for a Kindai or similar quality adapter made from Brass.
Also forget about using an AF chip it is simply too tight.
Cheers! |

Found some images: http://www.fengniao.com/secforum/950255.html
So it has six aperture blades.
Mirror clearance problems (on 5D) are probably even worse than the Contax version, due to the shorter registry distance.

It's possible that this lens will work on a 1Ds series camera and on crop camera's, by the way. I read that the Contax 28/2 works without mirror problems on the 1Ds. |
