I guess the Apotar lens is similar in performance.

Maybe it's the scan Attila. This one is a disappointment. Have you checked the focus accuracy with a ground glass?

Scanner is fine , possible handshaking or this lens not so good, not a Skopar or Heliar that for sure.

Yes. Good as Zeiss Tessar or perhaps even better.

From this series I like Heliar and Skopar, both are sharp , Heliar has amazing details best one what I even seen.
