Nothing spectacular, bad weather and no city around. Wink
(Street photos are what I plan to use the D2 most for.)

Bokeh doesn't seem too bad for a compact cam.

And some in B&W:

Yesterday after school (about 4.15 pm).

Very nice pictures!

How do you find the D2 in use?

Enjoy your new cam, Carsten, and yes, great shots!.
Which lens have you used for them?

Regards.

Jes.

The D2 has a 7mm-22.5mm f/2.0-2.4 Vario-Summicro (28-90mm).

Jes, I would love to own a Digilux 3. Wink But on the other hand, that would "only" be another DSLR for me, wouldn't it? Wink
The only alternative to my new Digilux 2 would be an M8, M8.2, M9 or an Epson RD-1 all of which play in a completely different price league. Sad

However the speed is impressive for a compact zoom lens.

Amazing quality for a point and shoot! Shocked

congrats! wow, that's a big p&s!
can this thing shot raw to control the sharpening ?

PostPosted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:55 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

Yes, it shoots RAW but has no buffer for it so you have to wait for the camera to finish writing it to the card (about 5 seconds). Another thing not apparent from the pictures is this camera has a totally quiet shutter.

Yes, it can shot in RAW. (Ludo is always faster than me. Wink) It takes a time, but I use a SanDisk Extreme III in there which kind of accelerates it. Wink
Anyway, the JPEG-algorithm is really good, so there is not much need too shoot in RAW.

Very nice images Carsten showing the capabilities of this cam. My fave is #1. Great colours and vividness.
