What is the English name of this machine? Italian "calcinculo" literally means "kicks-in-ass".
There are prizes placed high and those who can grab them win them.
For this reason kids usually play in team of two
(one in front which is the grabber and one behind who pushes him/her with the feet - hence the name):

This is very well done! These show a great reaction. I guess you pre-focused?

In German we call this "Kettenkarussell". I guess it pretty similar in Englisch "chain carousel", but I don't know for sure.

Looks noisy to me. You stripped the exif.
Or it's the site jpeg compression?

It's 400 ISO. The exif is not there because I exported with "save for web" feature of Photoshop.

The noise in the 100% crops of the photos taken with the Vario-Sonnar lens originated mostly from the boosting of the exposure. All photos' exposure has been pumped up in Lightroom a minimum of 2/3 stops to 1 full stop and sometimes more. The 5D Mark II does not like that.
I had to photograph underexposed of 2/3 stop by default in order to be able to obtain the shutter speeds that I wanted. To obtain the kind of aesthetical result that I was after, I needed a very minimum shutter time of 1/1600. Most photos in this series have been taken at or around 1/4000 shutter time.

In the 100% crops my purpose was to showcase the details, so I decided to zero the luminance noise reduction level with these images in order to preserve the smallest details. I prefer some background noise to the "watercolour effect" of noise filtering which makes the surfaces look fake to my eyes.

Of course I reckon that there is people which prefers the opposite, and actually if I had to make large prints from these, I would probably restore some luminance filtering. But like I said, the purpose of these 100% crops was to showcase the performance of the lenses.
