Helios 44/2 with tubes - garden shots

Used the Helios 44/2 for a few shots in the garden and used an extension tube to get in close! Camera was the Panasonic Lumix GF1.

1: Rose


2: A bit of X processing.


3: Rosebud and droplet.


4: Spider


5: Black & White version of the Rose

The first rose is wonderful; the second one I'd love to see in B&W, something in my head sees it as a stronger image in monochrome Embarassed

Did you use a flash? And did you stop down or shot wide open?

I shot at f5.6 with no flash, just natural light which was quite poor.
