this 800x532 pix image is actually a 100% magnification of a cropped image, no resizing
you can just follow the link, at the coupled images, click the right image
then click Actions - All available sizes
PS. attaching close focus lens makes images softer and shallower dof, IMHO, CMIIW _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/41597826@N04 |

Very good point! The handling improves a lot, you will find that setting lens aperture from body while focusing with your other hand allows you to use this lens for more rapid shooting and street photo, where bracketing of shots is useful.

You think there would be a significant difference? Not that much time has passed and it's still Cosina making them.
I've only seen some shots with slight blue fringing on contours of overexposed objects.
I don't know about veiling flare (in backlight situations), but it's probably not much of an issue with the small front element. |

Cheapest I've found on ebay (HK): Click here to see on Ebay (444 euros). In Germany lowest ebay price I see is 459,99 euros.
So USD450 is really a good price!
There's a SL I version in Pentax mount on ebay now. So much nicer looking than the SLII. But for Canon shooters the extra money for the SLII is worth it for the native mount (no messing with adapters and auto aperture+correct EXIF). |

I was really lucky and I have got mine from one guy from Siberia. But I have seen some interesting deals on fotoru forum. The most annoying thing with MF lenses is you cannot just buy something but you should hunt it (sometimes hardly) instead. _________________ Sony A7, NEX-5n, Panasonic GH5(Oly12-40/2., Contax Distagon T* 28/2.8, Contax Planar T* 50/1.4, Contax T* 80-200/4,
