Setting the ISO to Auto in Manual mode isn't really helpful; I was hoping Canon would have made this control the exposure.

However, in Tv mode, setting ISO to Auto and attaching an MF lens gets you this result (within it's capabilities). Very handy for quick grab, candid moments. I tried it with some urban work yesterday; setting the shutter to 1/125 I was able to set the DOF that I needed on the lens and let the camera expose it correctly.

A detail not to be forgotten: you need an FA chipped adapter.
