Never heard or seen it before.
It looks expensive anyway.
Considering the bulkiness I'd say a f/2.8. No? |

Yes, it's the Samyang 35/1.4.
I asked about the copper colored ring at the bottom, and if he understood me correctly (he was from Poland, with not so good English) he said that this is only because it is a prototype, the final one will be all black.
Unfortunately I couldn't take any images with it.
Price should be around 400 Euro he said. _________________ Best wishes, Wieland

Samyang is saying "our lenses give Zeiss results, provided the Zeiss lens is modified"
The Zeiss lens was used for shooting. _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮

I don't know what happened to the Zeiss lens.
It was shown at the Zeiss booth together with some guarantee certificates. Probably to show that they care ...
I really loved the Zeiss booth.
They had built up a Bonsai garden, surrounded with all their lenses on full frame cameras like Nikon D700 or Sony A900 and you could shoot with them. Great! It was funny, closest to the 100mm Macro a spider had built its web next to a head lamp. Perfect for shooting. _________________ Best wishes, Wieland
