Daytime long exposures taken at f16 with my new toy Very Happy
3 sec exposure iso 100 @ f16 with tandem dual circular polarizers
white balance and slight de-saturation done in raw

Love those threathening skies above the sea in photo 1. No Cool needed anymore...

Interesting mood, but you have a tilted horizon in #2. Wink

You should do some better sharpening (0.2 radius) after resizing though; they're unsharp now.

You should also avoid using f/16 if possible (use an ND-filter) because you'll lose sharpness due to diffraction.

Thanks ! i am aware of the concept of defraction I am not going to print these images, and wanted the min f stop for max dof
The dual circular polarizers used acted as a nd (3 sec at f16 will not be possible without)
Horizon corrected and sharpening applied

I very much like the sky in the first one. I don't see many longer exposures these days. It's always great with water.

the 50:1.4 is a great lens for such scene, I prefer #1

The sea looks like painting on the first, my fav as well. Nice ones
