Went walkabout this morning with this lens. Best of the shots at:-

Couple here for tasters - personally I quite like this lens - what do you say?

Looks good Smile

Is there some swirly bokeh too, or is that me imagining it?

This is an unknown. A picture to illustrate the lens would be appreciated...

Looks pretty good to me. It looks like it focuses quite closely too. I bet you didn't pay much for it either.

On the sauce again G? Laughing

My Pentacon 200mm preset also swirls wide open.

Hi Martin. You know me too well Smile I picked it up at a boot sale if I recall correctly. I can't remember exactly, but I certainly wouldn't have paid more than 2 or 3 GBP.

PS, been meaning to ask you. You know that superb 5D you sold me? Can you recall if it has the standard focus screen, or if it's got the manual focus screen in? Thx

I would love to know the maker of this lens. They also made the Sunagor
300 5.6, and they made my Seimar 400 6.3.
Link to Sunagor. Note it's missing the tripod mount.
Click here to see on Ebay

No. I'd like to have it, but I'll wait and find one in the US. Plus the real reason is I'm broke. Smile

Ah, but that's the advantage of cheap lenses Smile

Have you got any samples from your Seimar 400mm ?

No samples yet. I'm way behind on lens testing. Hopefully soon. Smile
