Anybody interested in this lense should go and look at a collection of photos that yoyo31 from Taiwan took with this lense and the Canon 5D Mark II. Full exif-data, lots of pictures from night-markets, portraits too:

Yes, but Priomoplan has very strong character, which leaves its fingerprint on the picture independently on camera.

Very impressive pictures, I really like the market shots.
Can anyone tell me what "Sharpness 5" in the data signifies - Not having a Canon, I don't "speak Canon" I regret to say. Does that mean it's a high level of in-camera sharpening to a JPEG file. or a modest level?

Very nice photos and very funny swirly bokeh, that swirl gets so abundant with such a large sensor. That shallow dof with a normal field of view is such a dreamy thing... _________________ E. German: Pentacon Electric 29 f/2.8 + Pentacon Auto 135 f/2.8

I believe that is the setting of canon dpp (Digital Photo Professional).
Users can adjust contrast, color tone, saturation and sharpness from 0-10. |

5 is the standard setting. Max is 10.
So I would say it's an average level. _________________ Olivier - Moderator
