The Takumar 35/4 ans the Sigma 200/3.5 macro arrived today :

199487, this is the first design with Takumar 1:4 f=35mm (assuming second design is Takumar 1:4 35mm, as for the 200/3.5) and we can actually speak about a minty lens Smile

I've had one of these Sigma Scalematics for thirty years.

Its a clever idea - the thing has two helicals, one conventional, one that moves the front group. Its a macro lens of a sort.

There are better 200mm lenses though.

This one is m42 though which means I can use it on my Pentax stuff. Thanks for the link.

Indeed, it can do nice pics, but for closest ones, you have to stop it down. I sell it because I don't do enough macros, but for the one who uses flashes, this can be a great lens, much cheaper than the 1:1 ones (this Sigma reach approx 1:2,5)
