Just a few of the shots I took this year at the Palio in San Secondo.
In the photography contest of last year, one of my photos made it to the finals (but did not win). All my three photos of last year are featured in the contest gallery: http://tinyurl.com/32ztvwp
This year, I left alone the action photos and concentrated only on the portraits. Let's see how it goes.
This photo however is not a portrait, it shows the church that last year was open to public and now was closed due to a damage that can be seen in this photo.

The lens? Distagon 1.4/35

Here's some of the not many pictures that I took with manual focus lenses.
Those days I had an eye sty that caused me a temporary astigmatism (on top of the one that I already have) which made it very difficult for me to focus manually,
as I noticed after the first day - and in the second day I used an AF lens Embarassed

Woman serving at table - Pancolar 1.8/80:

The cakes committee - Biogon 2/35 on Leica M9:

Flag jugglers talking - Distagon 1.4/35:

Reflective guy (yeah, that's me with the green shirt) - Planar 1.2/85:

Preparing for the procession - Planar 1.2/85:

Happy accident: at first I was disappointed that the lady closed her eyes.
At an afterthought I think it was better this way, it makes the image more particular. Planar 1.2/85:

I love this one! Very Happy - Planar 1.2/85:

Another happy accident, I like the grimace - Planar 1.2/85:

Singing man - Planar 1.2/85:

I took this shot first by focusing on the crowd, but it was tasteless.
Then I tried focusing on the foreground guy, and it turned out quite eerie! Shocked Made me think of Nosferatu! - Planar 1.2/85:

Yep, you're right.
The last one for me please.
Some grotesque figures over there.

Bit of a noise, I have to add.
Seenable on #7, the woman with the basket around her right hand.
It looks to be daylight, though.
What ISO?
