This year winter is getting quite enjoyable. Early sunsets mean I can go collect the good lady from work in the business district and have some interesting low light to play with for taking pics. Add a little rain and it gets even more enjoyable.

No. 1 is just plain lovely. I think it would has worked just as well in black and white, because it captured the evening light so well.
