I haven't been keeping up with the forum lately.

Here are some new shots at least, taken on the Swedish Air force display two weeks ago.
Most shots are taken with a 4/200 Nikkor.

Breitling Jet Team. A civilian aerobatics team, and the only one flying jets apparently.

Condensation phenomena on an old Saab J35 during a high-g manoeuvre

Two Spitfires in Swedish air is not exactly a common sight. A pity the pics doesn't come with the Merlin sound.

100% crop

A Bleriot replica, apparently with original engine

Thanks a lot Orio for those very kind words!

I realized that an air show is one occasion where newer AF lenses with image stabilisation has no advantage over MF.
It's infinity on all shots anyway and IS doesn't work well on moving objects, so here lens speed is more important.

Thanks a lot Patrick!
I think it was the first time we had 2 Spitfires flying in Sweden since they were used for a short period in the Swedish Air force after the war.

Very nice set. I really like the vintage Bleriot.
