Most unhappy news for sure. I hope he returns safely and soon. Maybe he will hear your voice calling his name at night or early morning at dawn when quiet outside and come direct to you. That how I find cat first time in forest got lost. I do hope so!

Let's hope and try to focus on some positive aspects, #1 summer is coming so cold temperature will not be a problem, this is good for her and you will have some time to find her, #2 parrot is not a common bird, so it will be easy for people to notice her, what you have to do is to spread around the news that you lost her, consider doing some things like buying advert space on newspapers, printing flyers with her photo and your phone number and place them in shops, in people's mailboxes... another possibility, contact local TV and radios and ask if they have a space or program where you can give the news and (on tv) show the photo.

Another idea, also contact local animals associations like wwf, there are usually also some specific for birds, give them a photo and your phone, it is possible that people finds her and not knowing what to do, they call animals association:

Some parrots or similar escaped in Brussels many years ago.. there is now a flock of them! They are quite the tourist attraction!

Stay positive Attila. I know it's not easy to do.
This happened to me once with a happy ending a full 7 days later. Your bird is smarter than mine was which will help.

Domestic birds who love humans will be attracted to people after they get over the excitemnet of flight.
My bird chase was returned to me by a couple he befriended.
He just landed in their picnic one evening only 3 blocks from my house.
They knew he was mine because they heard him squaking before when they would go for evening walks past my house.

BTW when this happened and I was searching for him animal control advised me to leave his perch and food outside the house.
They told me most birds do not fly far and will return to a familiar sight.
He may not recognize your house but, surely will recognize his food dishes and perch.

Sorry to hear this. Surely people will notice an unusual bird like this (African Grey?). You just need to find where they will talk about it - is there a bird-watchers/natural history club in the city? I know that here there is a small group of people who always get to hear if there is any unusual animal sighting - they get asked what it is, or just told about it because they are known to be interested in that sort of thing.

I have read few years ago that in many German big cities living in the municipal woods colonies of tropical birds which are flown away from their homes. Due to the warmer winters they have a good chance to survive.

Perhaps you have such a colony at Budapest too and you will find your bird there. Perhaps you can ask someone at a local animal shelter.
