Those of you who are familiar with the television series Home Improvement
are likely aware that Tim Taylor keeps his home and family in a
suburban area of Detroit, Michigan, USA.
I also live in a Detroit suburb, and I've always loved the show.

When Carsten posted a picture of his Binford-edition EOS 5D,
I immediately went looking for similar Binford decals, only to find there
are no vendors in North America. Crying or Very sad

I found two vendors of the decals, both of them located in Germany,
and both of them demanding outrageous costs to send such small
items to the United States. With Carsten's generous cooperation,
I was able to secure 12 of the wonderful Binford decals, at a total cost
of only a few Euros more than the shipping charge alone:

I thank you sincerely, Carsten! Very Happy

There's another reason for me to yell about this situation, which is to
broadcast my acquisition of a Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens,
which is what the picture above was taken with. It's a solid lens, heavy,
well-built, and a great focal range. Optics are super. I sold my 28-105
in favor of this lens, and I'm looking forward to trying it out for real.

Finally, there will be some Binford cams in the States! Wink

It was my pleasure to help you with that, Craig.
An congratulations to your new lens! Nice one, that is!
