Hi All,
What's the meaning of the Q1 sign of the name ring some old Zeiss lenses?

Export version for western countries ? or just an export version?
Are there a differences between lenses which have it and others which don't?

I guess the similar signs on russian lenses are the logo of the producing plant.

Wrote a bit about this markings in that thread, maybe I'm wrong, but have that information from first-hand from old camera-maker from Ihagee and Pentacon...
