The main problem I have shooting slide with a pre-war camera tends to be my own lack of thought - not adjusting for back lighting for example, or camera shake. Otherwise the Bessa 66 Skopar does better than me _________________ -Jussi

Great Jussi! I love the colours in the first one, although there seems to be a red cast? _________________ Rense

Really like the comp in the 2nd. If this is the roll I sent, it shouldn't be
expired, or only recently. |

Yes, this is the roll, and I don't think it was expired. The camera on the other hand is definitely past its sell by date _________________ -Jussi

Probably neither, I set white to a white stripe on the shady wall, probably should have looked for the white garbage can out front. _________________ -Jussi

The colors look very real, very neutral. I'm thinking this might be my
replacement for Provia, next time I order from Freestyle or Coststyle, as
it's getting to be! |

Freestyle costs more than B&H for color film, but costs less for b&w, not even counting the re-badged stuff.
Thanks for the Astia again, I'd been very curious about it. My epson software scans had color balance issues till I had my DUH moment - borrowing an idea from VueScan, I realized I could set neutral to film base, and that sorted out the balancing issues. _________________ -Jussi

I'm getting 20 rolls of Astia 120 tomorrow (and 20 rolls of Provia 400) I do like the slight accent that the film puts on the red/magentas. Works especially great in the fall me thinks. _________________ Sony α7R, Pentax 67II, Kiev-60, Hasselblad 203FE, 903SWC, Graflex Norita 66, Mamiya M645 1000s, Burke & James 8x10, Graflex Pacemaker Speed Graphic (4x5 and 3x4), Century Graphic (2x3), R.B.
