Nice shots Anu. In particular the last squirrel. The bokeh on the sparrow shot looks good too.

Fabulous squirrel shots, but the most unusual and mind-bending is the tit - what an excellent catch!

The blue titmouse is spectacular. We have gray ones here.

And the tufted-ear squirrels! What models they are. They must be used to people feeding them for you to be so close with your 200.

BTW, red squirrels are an endangered species in Europe. Hunting of red squirrel is prohibited in Italy since 1977

As far as I know, the red squirrel is not protected in Finland, and certainly not endangered. Is hunting the reason why it's endangered in Italy, or has there been an invasion of grey squirrels (much less cute than the red, in my opinion) like in the UK?

Hunting, mostly, and progressive reduction of forestal areas.
