This lens was in the mail, yesterday. After some satisfactory results with the Vivitar 55/2.8, I decided to buy also the Panagor 90/2.8 1:1 macro lens. For shooting bugs, 90mm can be more convenient, especially when the bugs are active. Working distance is longer, so one disturbs the bugs less. After receiving the lens yesterday, I mounted 48mm of extension tubes on my camera, mounted the lens on top of it and built me a new macro diffuser.

It looks a bit funny Very Happy

But these are the results:
100%

and slightly cropped (less than 25%)

Beautiful macros.
Have to take an effort to built your DIY macro flash unit, too.
Lighting is perfect. Very Happy

Great work on all of them. The last 2 are my favorites.

Thanks a lot. It was only after I posted these shots here that I saw in the first pic that the large aphid is giving birth to a baby aphid.... Surprised

I am most impressed by the first one. I tried to make pictures of the little critters long ago, with bad results. I never got enthousiast enough for a retry. This really looks good!
