My Dad purchased a Helios lens, and I had it shipped to me. So I have it a test drive before handing it over to him. Here is one of the shots from it. Slightly cropped. Seems like a nice sharp lens. I may just have to borrow it once in a while.

That's a 58 not 48 Mark.
Methinks that image is over-saturated but very sharp. _________________ Ron

Not my lens, and I didn't have it here to confirm.
I did bump up the yellows, as I wanted them to stand out, and, well they do. _________________ Camera(s) - Pentax *istD & K7

Thanks. No tubes used. Just then lens at MFD. As mentioned, it is cropped. _________________ Camera(s) - Pentax *istD & K7

I think the unedited shot had incorrect white-ballance (too cold/blue). Correction of white ballance would remove the blue tint and enhance the yellows at once. _________________ (almost) complete list of Helios lenses |

You are probably right, as the shot was taken with the filter that my Dad was asking about in this thread, and it was mentioned it would add a blue cast. _________________ Camera(s) - Pentax *istD & K7
