Our meeting trip was done Sunday 9th September at "Dusit Zoo",Bangkok.
There were 2-3 beautiful ladies went with our members. Thus, this trip became to be a portrait trip again.
However, the animal pictures were also taken, but less than those ladies.
I used two lenses with my Oly E500 for this trip, these were Konica Hexanon AR 3.5/135 and Jupiter-37A 3.5/135.
First pic. Jupiter-37A
Jupiter-37A
Jupiter-37A
Konica Hexanon AR
Konica Hexanon AR
Konica Hexanon AR
enough for ladies, these will be animals.
a duck
Konica Hexanon AR
a cat???? Ummm... a merecat (do I spell correctly....? should not be MIR-cat)
Konica Hexanon AR
another cat.......very big cat
I took this picture pass through a glass, plenty of stain, palm print of children. This Bengal tiger was about only 1.5 metre from me, it's the nearest focus range of Konica Hexanon 3.5/135
Last pic., another pic. of the cat. Konica Hexanon AR.

Ah...I forgot.....this is the picture of Manual focus Group Thailand's members.
These are only the members who live in Bangkok and the province nearby.
Their cameras are Olympus, Nikon, Pentax, Canon,... and various of lenses, both MF and AF.
the above pic. was taken by this camera, it is not MF, what a shame.

Excellent set, Pilant!
Your Konica Hexanon seems extremely sharp, and the Jupiter-37 is our well known gem, enough to see the first two ladies portraits to see what he can do.
The animal pictures of the Hexanon are really impressive!
But mostly what a nice thing to be able to have these crowded reunions of manual focus users! You are really lucky that MFL users of your city are so passionate about manual photography. _________________ Orio, Administrator

The young lady on the left, first photograph... her face is a perfect oval. Look, you can almost draw her contour with a precision instrument. She looks like designed by Raffaello. A sample of ideal beauty in a real world body.

yes girl in the blue is a cracker, interesting in a different way for me though she looks western (blue eyes/pale skin) but dressed oriental (died hair black eye liner? sailor type top typical of Japanese) also asian/japanese girls usually do the V sign in photos, you dont get that in anywaher else in the world AFAIK. I am intrigued. Maybe born in Thailand to western/mixed parentage. I lived in Hong Kong for many years so maybe that is why I pick up on it. That is what I like about photos like this everyone sees something different!
BTW nice animal shots I like the 37A best, maybe post the girl photographs a few days after the animal shots! _________________ LENS LIST |

My gag wasn't crude! It was actually a Hitchcock quote, from Rear Window.
Like someone said, if you have to steal, steal from the best!
