The Fuji lens is designed to be closer to the film/sensor than the EOS mount. So if you put the lens on the Canon, the lens would be too far away from the film/sensor. You would lose the ability to focus to infinity.
This also means that simple adapters are not possible, without having an optical element in them to correct for the distance offset (as well as any thickness that the adapter adds). |
