Is it convertable to SA/EOS?

I never heard of a conversion ... IF it is possible then you will have to change the mount of the lens and also make it (I guess) 1mm "shorter" ...

The lens protrudes?

The Fuji lens is designed to be closer to the film/sensor than the EOS mount. So if you put the lens on the Canon, the lens would be too far away from the film/sensor. You would lose the ability to focus to infinity.

This also means that simple adapters are not possible, without having an optical element in them to correct for the distance offset (as well as any thickness that the adapter adds).

Wow! The glass from the back looks HUGE! I guess I've been hanging around the m4/3 crowd too much Wink Even looking at a Rokkor 50/1.4 the rear element looks pretty darned BIG!

If it can be adapted to Pentax, I'll take it

I don't know if it's convertable to Pentax, but im sure it's easier than converting to SA.

SA has a register depth of 44mm, same as Canon. Pentax has 45.46, so it's worse on a Pentax (I think). What's the register depth of a Fuji?

should be of interest for all users who want to use this lens on Canon EOS.

This lens has a register of 43.5mm and will need a glass with a small multiplier factor for infinity focus on EOS.
