These ships are not too far from me and have been beeched for so long that they are vanishing in the mud.
These were shot back in March but I was a bit slow to finish the film. The camera was the Canon EF-M and lenses were mainly the Vivitar Series 1 35-85 and the Super-Takumar 24mm (only a couple as it caused the mirror to hang). Both with orange filter. Tri-X 400 dveloped in Ilfosol 3 @ 1:9.

Excellent results!
I like very much the details and the general sharpness.
The subject is ideal for B&W shooting.
Really well developed.
Congrats!

Great result. Nice sharpness and detail. The skies the way I like . And don't worry, I'm even slower than you are. From exposed negatives to finished prints it might be a looong time . Speaking of which I think you should try printing, these would rock...

Excellent Martin, very well done, both the photography and the developing. Tell me about the large sizes on Flikr, did you upsize them?
These timber ships must be very old indeed, with some local historical value probably. What a shame they've just been allowed to rot away. _________________ Peter - Moderator |

Thanks Peter
I scanned at 4800dpi, resized to 12x8 for my own uses then downsized to 20% to post on web.
Yes, the ships span the 50s to the 80s. There are plaques there to tell you about them. Well, before they rot away completely and vanish into the mud. _________________ Casual attendance these days |
