Do you know what the horizontal axis exactly is ?

x = distance from image center
y = resolution (measured in CCCP style, not comparable to japanese, german etc.)

In fact, Helios should be better (sharper edges) for full-frame, while Jupiter should be better for crop cameras...

I think it's the line of entrance of parallel light ray.

Would it mean that the H40 is sharper in the center and in the corner than the rest ? Quite strange Rolling Eyes

Yes, that's what I said Smile Real performance is in line with these results. I compared Helios to Jupiter on APS-C and you can see, that Helios is slightly sharper in center, while Jupiter has sharper borders... (remember that "borders" for APS-C are somewhere around 12-13mm)
