It's more than that... I see tons of CA and that's NOT normal behavior for the Apo-Lanthar. _________________ Peter - Moderator

I can imagine these samples made by an other lens. This lens is a top lens, no quality issue on it there is no lemon copy I believe it. Another idea perhaps lens was successfully cleaned with all coating together and wrongly re-assembled etc .. _________________ -------------------------------

Yellow bird house has camera shake, white boat has odd choice of focus, green pipe has too cold WB which creates blue/magenta OoF areas, same with Mazda sign, sax player colors look "dirty" or like too high ISO was chosen for the scene (or maybe that is sea haze in the scene)
Furthermore, when you read the photo tags you can also notice that photos were taken using a Tiffen UV haze or Tiffen Skylight filter. While filter usability can be debated until eternity fact is a Tiffen filter in front of the lens does not exactly decrease aberrations... au contraire.
Regarding those photos, as an owner of same camera (Nikon D3) and lens (actually, two copies of the lens) I don't see what I am used to seeing with this lens and camera body combination.
