Search field is there in normal search function, this function was a quick addition I hope I will have time to finish normally later.

I know, my point was that it would be nice to have a field where you can type in the search directly instead of going through to the search page first. Many other sites I use have one in the upper right corner, as do most (all?) modern browsers. It doesn't add new functionality, but gives faster access to the same feature… So, just an idea to consider if you are improving search—now the back-end of that search field could be the same URL as is used by the quick search code. =) |
